LS Industries standardizes automated flow through cylinder blaster

LS offers a wide range of features that allow you to tailor your cleaning operations to fit your specific needs. The BFC12 is designed to blast clean the exterior surfaces of a continuous flow of high-pressure gas cylinders using steel shot as an abrasive media. Cylinder sizes range from 5.5"-12" in diameter and 12"- 67" in length. Capacity of the system is rated for 400-500 cylinders per 8-hour shift.
The BFC12 has features that include: ease of system integration, automated sensors, and custom blast cycles. The BFC12 can be integrated with testing equipment to further automate the certification process. Sensors feed the tanks at programmed intervals for increased production and less handling. Variable speed rollers set the rate that different sized bottles can be cleaned most efficiently.
The BFC12 is equipped with two overhead LS TurboShot™ blast wheels. The efficient blast wheel design is easily maintained. The cabinet is ruggedly built and features a replaceable cast chrome lining. Other components include vestibules, curtains and v-trays to contain shot. Shot is then recycled through the system with a series of augers and an elevator supplying the blast wheels. A cartridge style dust collector is included.
