Workdoors are fabricated of formed heavy gauge steel panels stiffened with steel tubing and hung with heavy-duty ball bearing hinges. The doors are secured by a clamp-type lock bar mechanism, which fasten the doors together with the doorframe at both top and bottom.
Illumination is provided by a series of fluorescent light fixtures each rated at 455 watts and 6,950 lumens. The lights are mounted on the ceiling and/or wall panels as required. All lights operate on 115 volt electrical current and are controlled from a separate control switch. Lights are easily accessible for servicing.
To permit free entry of ventilating air while preventing escape of abrasive dust, the walls or ceiling assemblies are fitted with an appropriate number of air inlet filter pads protected from the inside by self draining abrasive baffle shields. Air velocity through the air inlets is maintained at no less than 50 feet per minute to meet requirements for a paint room ventilation system, in addition to the requirements of a blast facility.
